TRAMS' ClientBase and Passport Online integrate e-mail marketing tools

BEAVERTON, OR - (January 5, 2005) — Agents can send professional emails and track what the clients do once they get the emails.

Passport Online, a leading electronic marketing company working with major consortia, agencies and suppliers to facilitate the promotion of vacation travel products, is pleased to announce the completion of a powerful integration with the leading travel agency CRM system, ClientBase by TRAMS, Inc. Agents are now able to use Passport Online's VacationPORT e-marketing system to select supplier offers and easily build a professional email promotion, then export that email into their ClientBase email program. Once in ClientBase , the agent can automatically send the promotion to selected clients. At the same time, Passport Online embeds each client's ClientBase ID number, providing a "ClientBase E-Mail Activity Record" where the agent can view:
  • Who opened the email
  • What offers within the email they clicked-on to view More Details on a web page
  • What other offers they viewed on the web page (perhaps a different category of offers)
  • If they added an offer to the Contact Agent Trip Request and sent an email to the agency
  • If, where available, they clicked on "Book Online/Check Availability" to enter an integrated online booking engine
